This is the best method for learning how to hard boil eggs easily and consistently. The instructions below work for farm-fresh eggs, as well as raw eggs purchased at the grocery store.

Place large eggs in a single layer on the bottom of a saucepan filled with cool water. There should be 1 inch of water above the top of the eggs.

As soon as the water comes to a full boil, turn the heat off the saucepan.

Cover the hot saucepan for 15 minutes in the water to finish the cooking process.

At the 15 minute mark, hardboiled eggs need to be moved to an icewater bath.

They only need a few minutes to stop the cooking process. Peel the eggs and they will be good for 5 days in the fridge!

ENJOY THE EGGS IN AVARIETY OF WAYS - SNACK, SANDWICH OR APPETIZER!
