WHY MAKE THIS RECIPE?

INGREDIENTS

-Ground pork  breakfast sausage -Salted butter -A head of  cauliflower -Yellow onion and  celery -Flat-leaf parsley -Sage, thyme, salt  & pepper

STEP 1

Heat the skillet and cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.

STEP 2

Move the ground sausage to a clean bowl.  Do not clean out skillet.

STEP 3

Melt butter in skillet, then add garlic and cook for 2 minutes or until fragrant.

STEP 4

Add cauliflower, onion, celery, parsley, and spices to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until veggies are soft.

STEP 5

Transfer mixture to a serving dish and pour the chicken broth over the top (if using).

RECIPE NOTE

For added texture, consider sprinkling dried cranberries or chopped pecans over the top.
