Homemade Turtle Candies

Make the classic Turtles candy in your kitchen with just a few simple ingredients and in a few minutes! Toasted pecans are covered with delicious caramel and topped with chocolate to create an easy, irresistible holiday or any-time dessert!

– 3 cups pecans –11 oz caramel bits 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Toast the pecans. Once they cool, set them in groups of 4 on a parchment paper covered baking sheet.  

Create round balls with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet, then let them firm up in the fridge for about 30 minutes. 

Pour melted caramel over the pecans. Set the pan in the fridge to cool. 

Melt the chocolate in a small bowl. Add about a tablespoon of chocolate over the hardened caramel pecan clumps. Set in the fridge until ready to serve!
