This is the BEST cupcake recipe! These no fail cupcakes are EASY, moist, flavorful, versatile and pretty.

– Salted butter – Sugar – Egg whites – Almond extract – Flour – Baking powder – Salt – Buttermilk – Vanilla buttercream frosting (one batch) – Sprinkles (optional)

Vanilla Buttercream Frosting tastes amazing smeared all over them, but any frosting would adorn them well. Lemon, Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Peppermint, Ganache frostint or cream cheese frosting are all good choices!

These bake up in 14-16 minutes.  Not bad! But they only need to bake 9-10 min, if making mini cupcakes.

Using buttermilk for this recipe is key! Make sure the buttermilk is at room temperature before adding it to the batter. Don't have any? Use this 2-ingredient trick!
