EASY CARAMEL PECAN BARS FOR THANKSGIVING

These caramel pecan bars are easy to make and I cannot even describe how delicious they are.

The perfect amount of caramel holding a cluster of delicious pecans together, with a perfect shortbread crust. These bars are danger-zone caliber, friends.

Pecan halves Heavy cream Brown sugar Honey Unsalted butter Flour Salt

Prepare the crust and bake.

Begin making the topping. Add the ingredients to a saucepan and melt them together, stirring constantly.

Stir in the cream and cook the mixture until it reaches 240 degrees on a candy thermometer.

Stir in the pecans and then add to the top of the baked crust. Return to the oven to finish baking.

Let the bars cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.  The bars can be stored at room temperature for 3 days or in the fridge for 5 days.
