RUNZA CASSEROLE DISH

What is a Runza?! A popular restaurant in Omaho, NE - their specialty sandwich, The Runza Sandwich, consists of beef, cabbage and onions squished between two scrumptious pieces of bread.

The ingredients are so simple! With just a little love and some cooking magic, cabbage and ground beef transform into a savory, comforting casserole the whole family will enjoy.

Add crescent rolls to the bottom of a baking dish. Bake to get it ready for the beef.

Prepare the beef mixture to top the crescent rolls in a skillet. Use a couple pats of butter to season the beef once it's no longer pink.

Add the onions and let them begin to soften, then toss in the cabbage to cook down.

Let the cheese rain over the mixture for a healthy layer to melt them together!
