Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake

The only thing better than salted caramel apples? Salted caramel apple cheesecake! Throw apples on top for the perfect flavor combo!

CRUST – 16 cinnamon graham crackers – 1/2 cup sugar – 12 tbsp salted butter  CHEESECAKE – 16 oz cream cheese  – 1 cup sugar – 3 eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract

APPLE FILLING – 6 tbsp salted butter – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1 tsp cinnamon – 5 apples  – 1 cup salted caramel sauce – 1 tbsp Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

The secret to this cheesecake is the layer of goodness on top of the crust and over the top of the cheesecake too.

Prepare your spring form pan and lightly spray it with cooking spray.

Get the cinnamon graham crackers crushed and form the crust with butter.

Prepare your apples! I love using my apple peeler, corer to get them ready to chop and cook down before using them for the cheesecake.

Add some cooked apples to the top of the crust, drizzle the caramel too, then bake. Now it's time to add your cream cheese filling. Bake!

Next comes the hands down, hardest part... Let it cool. 1.5 hours on the counter then let it firm up in the fridge!

Finally, add the remaining apples to the top, add some more caramel and sprinkling of salt and serve!

Enjoy!
