Coconut Cream Pie

This is the best coconut cream pie recipe you’ll ever taste and you will WOW guests at any gathering. A creamy homemade custard filling is topped with fresh, sweet whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes. This is the perfect light dessert.

– Sweetened flaked coconut – Deep dish pie crust – Coconut milk – Heavy whipped cream – Eggs – Cornstarch – Sugar – Salt – Vanilla extract – Coconut extract – Powdered sugar

To get started, follow the instructions to bake the pie crust. Then toast the coconut in the oven, adding it to a baking sheet and let it get golden brown. 

Prepare the filling on the stove, creating a creamy, dreamy mixture.  Fold in the toasted coconut. 

Pour the cream into the pie crust. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours to cool before adding the whipped cream topping.
