Asparagus is a super simple veggie to prepare. Make this delicious side dish to go along with any meal. You’ll enjoy every bite of this sauteed asparagus!
In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the bouillon cube and, using a spatula, break it up and stir it into the olive oil.
Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook, tossing occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until bright green in color. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer asparagus to serving platter and drizzle oil from skillet over the top.
Notes
Replace olive oil with coconut, vegetable or canola oil, if desired.
After drizzling the oil over the top, sprinkle Parmesan over the top for an extra punch of flavor.
Sprinkle garlic powder over the asparagus before baking for added flavor.
Squirt lemon juice over the top juice before serving!
