Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 extra-large chicken-flavored bouillon cube
  • 1 bunch asparagus ends trimmed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the bouillon cube and, using a spatula, break it up and stir it into the olive oil.
  • Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook, tossing occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until bright green in color. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer asparagus to serving platter and drizzle oil from skillet over the top.

Notes

  • Replace olive oil with coconut, vegetable or canola oil, if desired.
  • After drizzling the oil over the top, sprinkle Parmesan over the top for an extra punch of flavor.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder over the asparagus before baking for added flavor.
  • Squirt lemon juice over the top juice before serving!
