Place frozen tots in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer or the inner pot of a pressure air fryer. Cook dumplings at 375 degrees F for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
When cooking time is up, use tongs or a spatula to remove from the air fryer. Place on a few paper towels to remove any excess oil. Repeat process with remaining tots.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve alongside ketchup, bbq sauce or your favorite fry sauce.
Notes
For best results, add a little bit of cooking spray or olive oil before cooking. Use an oil sprayer to avoid using excess oil.
Any brand of tater tots works great for this recipe.
Pop leftover tater tots in the fridge (stored in a ziploc bag or airtight container) and reheat the next day in the microwave or in the air fryer for just a couple minutes.
It is a good idea to have them lined up in a single layer so that none are overlapping while they cook.
This is the perfect side dish to go alongside burgers or hot dogs or turn them into tater tot nachos!
