Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 32 oz tater tots frozen

Instructions

  • Place frozen tots in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer or the inner pot of a pressure air fryer. Cook dumplings at 375 degrees F for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
  • When cooking time is up, use tongs or a spatula to remove from the air fryer. Place on a few paper towels to remove any excess oil. Repeat process with remaining tots.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and serve alongside ketchup, bbq sauce or your favorite fry sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, add a little bit of cooking spray or olive oil before cooking. Use an oil sprayer to avoid using excess oil.
  • Any brand of tater tots works great for this recipe.
  • Pop leftover tater tots in the fridge (stored in a ziploc bag or airtight container) and reheat the next day in the microwave or in the air fryer for just a couple minutes.
  • It is a good idea to have them lined up in a single layer so that none are overlapping while they cook.
  • This is the perfect side dish to go alongside burgers or hot dogs or turn them into tater tot nachos!
