Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente, approximately 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse. Toss with olive oil.
Pour sauce into a medium skillet. Add chicken and desired spices to spruce up the sauce (optional). Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until warmed through.
Divide cooked pasta between serving plates and top with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Make your batch of sauce tastier by adding cream cheese, pasta water, garlic powder, unsalted butter, heavy whipping cream, Italian seasoning, ground beef, cooked chicken breasts (chopped), a splash of milk, grated Parmesan cheese, fresh minced garlic, a pinch of nutmeg, chicken broth
