Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup skim milk or almond milk
  • 1 tsp caramel extract or extract of choice
  • 2 tsp Stevia or sugar

Instructions

  • Pour the hot coffee into a mug. Add milk, extract and Stevia (or sugar) to a glass liquid measuring cup. Microwave for 1 minute and either froth, blend or whisk for 30 seconds.
  • Pour over top of the coffee and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For an extra frothy latte, use a frother on the milk mixture before adding it to the coffee.
  • For an even skinnier drink, use almond milk instead of skim milk.
  • Adding a splash of coffee creamer (in place of the sugar or sugar substitute) to the milk mixture is such a great flavor booster.
  • Extract options to experiment with: butter, vanilla, caramel, butter, rum, mint or almond.
