Snickers Fruit Salad

This salad includes fresh crunchy apples and diced candy bars mixed in with a sweet, creamy mixture. Enjoy this quick and easy salad that can be served as a dessert, party food or even a snack. It is an irresistible summer, fall and winter treat!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. frozen whipped cream topping thawed according to package directions
  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 15 oz. can fruit cocktail drained
  • 2 Granny Smith apples cored and chopped
  • 5 1.86 oz. Snickers candy bars coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the whipped cream topping and cream cheese and mix until smooth. In a medium bowl, combine the fruit cocktail, apples, candy bar pieces and marshmallows. Stir until combined and add to the whipped cream-cream cheese mixture.
  • Stir gently until combined. Cover and refrigerate for one hour before serving.

Notes

To change it up, here are some great optional add-ins: toss in sliced red or green grapes; instead of just tart green apples throw in one sweet red apple; a 1/4 cup of shredded coconut would be delicious too!
Feel free to drizzle salted caramel sauce over the top!
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the apples to keep them from browning.
Granny smith apples are my FAVORITE variety of apple to use in this recipe, but any firm variety tastes great.
