  • 15.25 oz strawberry cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup strawberry jam

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and set aside. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, evaporated milk and vanilla. Mix well and spread two-thirds of the batter into prepared pan, pressing with fingertips. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle white chocolate chips evenly over the partially cooked brownies. Drop the jam in dollups over the top. Drop the remaining batter over the top in clumps (it will not be completely covered). Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Change up the flavors of these brownies by using different varieties of cake mix. Chocolate, white, yellow, lemon or funfetti would all be delicious!
Be careful not to overcook these! They should be soft in the center, but should jiggle uniformly when you lightly shake the pan.
For an extra fresh pan of bars, add 1 cup of fresh strawberries that have been hulled and chopped to the batter.
A simple icing would taste amazing drizzled over the tops! Mix powdered sugar with a few tablespoons of milk!
White chocolate chips can be replaced with any other variety of chocolate.
