  • 30 oz hash browns frozen, any variety
  • 1 stick butter cut into pats
  • 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning Salt such as Lawry's

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Distribute frozen hash browns evenly in prepared baking dish. Spread out the pats of butter evenly over top of the hash browns, and pour whipping cream evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle evenly with seasoning salt. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.

  • These potatoes can be the main event by adding diced ham or chopped turkey.
  • Use any variety of frozen potatoes for this recipe. Stacking hashbrown patties works well, or choose between shredded, diced or country-style potatoes.
  • This recipe would be delicious with a can of diced green chilies thrown in for added spice.
  • Decrease the amount of butter used in the recipe by half and/or replace whipping cream with milk to slim the recipe down.
