Ingredients

  • 3 oz tequila
  • 1.5 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 grapefruit juiced
  • 1 lime juiced

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ice cubes along with tequila, Grand Marnier, grapefruit and lime juice.
  • Shake well and serve on the rocks or with no ice. Garnish with lime wedges, if desired.

Notes

  • If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use two plastic cups that fit snugly opening to opening. We like to shake our margaritas to ensure the ingredients get mixed together thoroughly.
  • The tastiest orange liqueur to use for this drink is Grand Marnier, but Triple Sec and Cointreau work well, too.
  • Use crushed ice and salt-rimmed glasses for an extra fun and yummy drink.
  • This recipe will make enough for 1 perfect beverage, but feel free to quadruple the recipe to make a large pitcher to share!
  • Any variety of grapefruit tastes great for this yummy beverage, but pink grapefruit juice is our favorite.
