Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 apples sliced
  • 2 oranges sliced (peel on)
  • 1/2 cup cranberries fresh, frozen or dried
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp whole all spice
  • 1 whole nutmeg

Instructions

  • Fill a crock pot half full of water. Place all other ingredients inside and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 hours on High heat.
  • Remove cover, turn heat to Low setting and cook for up to 8 hours. Stir occasionally throughout the day.

  • Dried apple slices/dried fruit
  • Nutmeg
  • Fresh apples
  • Grapefruit slices (rind on)
  • Lemon slices or peels
  • Cinnamon and cloves
  • Pine
  • Essential oils (any citrus)
  • Star anise
