Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream cheese frosting is super easy to make and this easy recipe turns out great every single time. This creamy, tasty frosting pairs perfectly with your favorite cake or cupcake. It is irresistibly delicious!

–Salted butter –Cream cheese –Vanilla –Powdered sugar

Never buy a can of cream cheese frosting in the store. You can't beat making it yourself and it just takes minutes to do it yourself!

Add your first 3 ingredients into the mixing bowl. Use a mixer to blend the ingredients til they are really smooth.

Once the ingredients are smooth, carefully add a bit of the powdered sugar. If you go to fast with the mixer, it'll poof up all over your face!

Add the powdered sugar and beat on medium-high speed for 3 minutes.

For a sturdier frosting, add extra confectioner’s sugar (1/4 cup at a time) until the desired consistency is reached. You may want an extra sturdy frosting when you are piping it onto certain baked goods.

This frosting tends to get a little bit soft, especially if it sits in warm weather, so be sure to refrigerate the baked goods once they are frosted until they’re ready to be served.
