Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream cheese frosting is super easy to make and this easy recipe turns out great every single time. This creamy, tasty frosting pairs perfectly with your favorite cake or cupcake. It is irresistibly delicious!

Cream cheese frosting is my favorite thing to spread on top of cakes and cupcakes.

-- Salted butter -- Cream cheese -- Vanilla -- Powdered sugar

One of the best things about homemade frosting is that it is so ridiculously easy to make. Better than store bought!

You'll need a hand or kitchen stand mixer for this recipe. 

Spread or pipe the frosting onto your favorite cakes, cupcakes or bars!

For a sturdier frosting, add extra confectioner’s sugar (1/4 cup at a time).

Use good quality, full fat cream cheese! Do not be tempted to buy a super cheap brand or to use a low-fat version.

This frosting tends to get a little bit soft, especially if it sits in warm weather, so be sure to refrigerate the baked goods once they are frosted until they’re ready to be served.
