Slow Cooker Shredded Pork

WHY MAKE THIS RECIPE?
This is the best pulled pork crock pot recipe and it requires only 4 ingredients & minimal effort. Spoon into hamburger buns and serve at your next gathering or for family dinner this week.
3 lb pork roast
1 yellow onion chopped
15 oz beef broth
2 cups bbq sauce
8 hamburger buns
STEP 1
In a slow cooker, combine your pork roast, coated in salt and pepper with yellow onion, beef broth and BBQ sauce.
Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours, or until meat is tender.

Transfer pork to a cutting board and shred the meat using two forks.
Add shredded pork back to the slow cooker and mix well. Cook pulled pork for an additional 10 minutes, or until warmed through.
STEP 4
Enjoy a pulled pork sandwich with:
-potato salad
-baked beans
-taco ranch pasta salad
-chopped salad
-sauteed cabbage
How To Serve
Before cooking the meat, it may be helpful to cut the roast into quarters first then making it easier to shred later. .
RECIPE TIP
Top sandwiches with sliced pickles, pickle relish and/or extra bbq sauce just before serving. This is the most delicious formula!
