Apple Crisp -variety of apples -cinnamon -sugar -old fashioned oats -flour -salted butter -brown sugar -baking powder -baking soda -salt
Preheat oven to 350°F and coat your 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray.
Use your fabulous apple slicer to peel and core the apples. Let them sit in a bowl of lemon juice as you finish up. Chop them into even sized pieces.
In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the apple slices
Once you have the apples in the pan, cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over the top, pour water evenly over the top.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt and butter. Stir until crumbly.
Next, pour the crumble mixture over the apple mixture. Make sure it's covered evenly in the pan.
Feel free to replace some of the sugar with honey for a bit less of an unhealthy dessert (ha!).
