STEP 1

Pick a variety of apples to achieve really great flavor. Peel, core and chop your apples. Fill a bowl with water and lemon in it.

STEP 2

Place a pork tenderloin in a crock pot along with apple slices, onion slices and apple cider. Salt and pepper never hurt.

STEP 3

Cook on for 4 to 5 hours. Cut the pork and place on serving plates. Pour the apple-onion mixture over the top of each serving.

STEP 4

If you prefer to let this cook slower and longer,  adjust your cooking time to 7-8 hours on low heat.

TIP

This main dish does  not need any further condiments to give it great flavor but BBQ is always easy to make.

Prep your ingredients in the morning. By evening you’ll have a hearty and healthy meal ready to eat.
