Halloween Snack Mix

This easy Halloween snack mix combines pretzels, Bugles, caramel corn, peanuts and colorful candy for the perfect sweet-and-salty party snack. It makes a generous batch in just 5 minutes with no baking or melted coating required.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz tiny twist pretzels
  • 14.5 oz original bugles
  • 12 oz caramel corn
  • 10 oz milk chocolate m&m's
  • 11 oz Autumn Mix candy corn
  • 16 oz salted peanuts

Instructions

  • Add the pretzels, Bugles, caramel corn, M&M’s, candy corn and peanuts to an extra-large bowl. If necessary, divide the ingredients between two large bowls.

  • Gently toss until the candy and crunchy snacks are evenly distributed. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Notes

Use a large enough bowl. This recipe makes about five pounds of snack mix. Use an extra-large bowl or divide the ingredients between two bowls so you can toss everything without spilling.
Mix gently. Avoid crushing the Bugles and caramel corn as you combine the ingredients.
Make a smaller batch. Cut each ingredient approximately in half for a family-size batch. Exact package sizes do not need to match perfectly.
Adjust the balance. Add more pretzels, Bugles or peanuts for a saltier mix. Add more M&M’s or candy corn for additional sweetness.
Toss before serving. The candy and peanuts may settle at the bottom. Give the mix another gentle toss and serve it with a scoop so everyone gets a little of everything.
Store properly. Keep the mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For the freshest texture, prepare it no more than two or three days before serving.
