Ingredients

  • 1 cup olives finely chopped; use green, black, kalamata or an assortment
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp olive brine from jar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the olives, cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, olive brine and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve chilled, with crackers, pita chips or bread. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Spruce up the dip with fresh herbs, such as chives or parsley.
  • The olives add plenty of salt, so add the garlic powder in very small increments and to personal taste.
  • Be sure to check for olive pits before adding to the dip.
  • Add a little black pepper or red pepper flakes to give the dip a little spice.
  • Add extra olives for bigger flavor.
