Spruce up and slim down tonight’s dinner burger! These Buffalo Ranch Turkey Burgers are delicious and affordable!
Why I Like Making Spicy Ranch Turkey Burgers
These burgers are a super quick, slim and AFFORDABLE dinner option. We are in super-penny-pinching mode in our abode. We are never lacking for anything and in fact have more than we probably need, but financial stress always lingers. My growing thighs demanded adding “fitness club” back into the budget which has required cut-backs in other areas, such as eating out.
Somehow in our lazy winter mode, we found ourselves eating out way too often. For the past month I have been planning out grocery trips, saving tons of money with coupons and planning dinners ahead of time. Every little bit helps!
But if you love a good burger, I highly recommend trying out one of these premium gourmet options!
How To Make A Buffalo Ranch Turkey Burger
In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, buffalo sauce, salt and pepper. It might be tempting, as it was for me the first time I attempted this recipe, to just slather that bowl with buffalo sauce. If too much sauce is added, your burgers will crumble and dinner will suddenly become buffalo turkey tacos. Three tablespoons of sauce to 1 pound of turkey is a safe, stay-in-one-piece ratio.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal meat blobs and form into patties.
Now you have options! To cook the patties, use the stovetop, a grill, a Foreman grill or even your oven’s broiler. Cook on each side for 4 to 5 minutes, or until you have reached desired doneness.
Toppings can include: additional buffalo sauce, Ranch dressing, lettuce and blue cheese crumbles. Be ready to get a little messy!
