HOW TO MAKE A CHEESE STUFFED JUICY LUCY BURGER
STEP 1
Light a grill over medium heat. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Mix thoroughly. Divide the mixture into eight equal portions.
Form flat patties with hands. Place a chunk of cheese onto the center of each of 4 patties. Place remaining patties on top and cinch around edges to create rounded patties.
STEP 2
Place burger patties onto a lighted grill. Cook the burgers for 5 minutes per side or until desired level of doneness is reached.
STEP 3
Place a burger onto the bottom half of each bun. Top each with toppings of choice. Serve to hungry burger lovers!
RECIPE NOTES FOR JUICY LUCY BURGERS
- If you like a kick on your burger, add some pepper jack cheese to the middle of the ground beef.
- Use a slice of American cheese cut into quarters and stacked to put in the centers. American is a great choice because it’s the perfect melting cheese.
- One pound of ground beef isn’t quite enough to make four burgers, but 1 1/2 to 2 pounds works great.
- Mix some ground red pepper into the ground beef instead for a spicy burger.
- Dice up red or white onion and some cilantro, mix it into the ground beef for fresh flavor you won’t regret.
- Thinly slice button mushrooms and saute them in a hot pan with olive oil until they are cooked through and caramelized. Then top them on your burger for an amazing dinner!
- These can easily be made on the stove top in a cast iron skillet, as well.

The more cheese the better, I say! I’d like to bite right into one of these burgers. I bet the Worcestershire sauce really adds to the flavor!
