I’m on a roll with throwing frozen food into my air fryer to create ridiculously easy and delicious foods of all kinds. Is there anything better than literally dumping a bag of frozen food into an appliance, pressing a few buttons, then opening the lid to find perfectly-cooked food staring back at you?!
Brussels are one of my all-time favorite veggies and they have been since I was a kid. Before this week, my favorite way to cook them has been to roast Brussels sprouts in the oven. You can never go wrong with that cooking method.
But guess what? You can’t go wrong with this one, either! This is such an easy recipe and will be the star of the show!
Recipe Ingredients
Frozen Brussels sprouts – This is the only ingredient necessary, making this the easiest way to enjoy a nutritious side dish. No thawing necessary! Straight from the freezer to air fryer.
Seasonings – To give this green veggie a touch of flavor, you can go a couple routes. Either purchase a pre-seasoned frozen variety OR sprinkle salt and black pepper (or seasonings of your choice) over top before cooking.
Frozen Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Follow these simple steps to create this perfect side dish for your next meal!
Step 1
Lightly spray the basket of an air fryer with cooking spray and add the place Brussels sprouts in a single layer.
Step 2
Cook at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes. Toss and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until lightly golden brown with perfectly crispy edges.
Remove from air fryer when cook time is up and enjoy immediately!
Recipe Notes
- Drizzle a little bit of olive oil over the sprouts before cooking for an extra yummy dish.
- Maple syrup or honey drizzled over the top before serving adds the perfect sweet touch.
- Fresh Brussels sprouts can be cooked instead of frozen. Decrease cooking time by 2 minutes if going this route.
- Store leftovers in aluminum foil or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Add minced garlic for an extra boost of flavor OR a sprinkling of garlic powder!
- Sprinkling Parmesan cheese (shaved or grated!) and/or lemon zest or lemon or lime juice over top of the Brussels sprouts before just after cooking adds a delicious and fresh touch.

Brussels sprouts are a very nutritious food! They are high in vitamin C, minerals, antioxidants and fiber.
Brussels sprouts can definitely be frozen. Either do a quick freeze before freezing in a ziploc bag or skip the quick-freezing and store as close to a single layer as possible. Freeze for up to 6 months!
Brussels sprouts grow well in cooler weather, sprouting when the ground temp falls between 45 and 80 degrees F. When growing straight from seeds, directly sow them into the soil between mid to late summer to harvest in the fall.
