Air Fryer Frozen Brussels Sprouts will allow you to get a delicious, healthy side dish on the table quickly and easily. No prep, totally hands off, this is the easiest way to cook this green veggie.

Plate filled with brussels sprouts and hashbrowns.

    Why This Recipe Works

I’m on a roll with throwing frozen food into my air fryer to create ridiculously easy and delicious foods of all kinds. Is there anything better than literally dumping a bag of frozen food into an appliance, pressing a few buttons, then opening the lid to find perfectly-cooked food staring back at you?!

Brussels are one of my all-time favorite veggies and they have been since I was a kid. Before this week, my favorite way to cook them has been to roast Brussels sprouts in the oven. You can never go wrong with that cooking method.

But guess what? You can’t go wrong with this one, either! This is such an easy recipe and will be the star of the show!

    Recipe Ingredients

Cutting board with frozen Brussels sprouts and an olive oil spritzer on top.

Frozen Brussels sprouts – This is the only ingredient necessary, making this the easiest way to enjoy a nutritious side dish. No thawing necessary! Straight from the freezer to air fryer.

Seasonings – To give this green veggie a touch of flavor, you can go a couple routes. Either purchase a pre-seasoned frozen variety OR sprinkle salt and black pepper (or seasonings of your choice) over top before cooking.

Follow these simple steps to create this perfect side dish for your next meal!

    Step 1

Lightly spray the basket of an air fryer with cooking spray and add the place Brussels sprouts in a single layer.

    Step 2

Cook at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes. Toss and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until lightly golden brown with perfectly crispy edges.

Remove from air fryer when cook time is up and enjoy immediately!

    Recipe Notes

    • Drizzle a little bit of olive oil over the sprouts before cooking for an extra yummy dish.
    • Maple syrup or honey drizzled over the top before serving adds the perfect sweet touch.
    • Fresh Brussels sprouts can be cooked instead of frozen. Decrease cooking time by 2 minutes if going this route.
    • Store leftovers in aluminum foil or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
    • Add minced garlic for an extra boost of flavor OR a sprinkling of garlic powder!
    • Sprinkling Parmesan cheese (shaved or grated!) and/or lemon zest or lemon or lime juice over top of the Brussels sprouts before just after cooking adds a delicious and fresh touch.
    • Add chopped (uncooked) pieces of bacon to the air fryer basket for a meaty, even more delicious side.

What To Serve With This Side

    • Serve alongside a Rotisserie chicken for a super simple and easy meal.
    • Store in the fridge for easy sides, snacks and lunches throughout the week. Veggies are the PERFECT meal prep recipe!
    • Thinly slice after cooking and throw them onto your next homemade pizza! YUM!
    • Toss them with your next salad for an extra punch of nutritious flavor.
    • I love veggies when added to a bowl of Ramen noodles! This completely transforms an otherwise kinda boring meal into a dish packed with color and flavor.
    • Really, though, they taste great alongside any chicken or beef dish or even pork chops. Serve them with these super easy Instant Pot Chicken Breasts for a quick and healthy meal!
