Air Fryer French Toast Sticks are a quick and easy, delicious breakfast you can make for your family. Eat immediately or freeze for later!

I have two starving pre-teen boys in my house and ohmygoodness they are hungry in the mornings! They’re hungry all the time, but especially just after waking up. These Air Fryer French Toast Sticks have saved me in recent weeks.

They grab this easy breakfast straight from the freezer and throw it in the microwave to enjoy before I’m even awake. Both of my boys agree that they taste best when enjoyed straight from the air fryer, but they are still delicious after being frozen.

These babies taste like they’ve been deep fried but obviously have not. They are perfectly crispy with the best texture and have such incredible and delicious flavor.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER FRENCH TOAST STICKS

STEP 1

In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, heavy cream, melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.

STEP 3

Air fry at 375 degrees F for 7 minutes and flip the French toast sticks. Cook for an additional 5 minutes at the same temperature. Repeat with remaining ingredients until bread is gone.

Enjoy immediately with powdered sugar and maple syrup.

RECIPE NOTES FOR AIR FRYER FRENCH TOAST

  • Meal prep tip! This is a great recipe to freeze for later. Place cooled French toast sticks in a ziploc bag and seal. Freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to eat, place frozen French toast sticks in a single layer and microwave for 60 seconds.

  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving, alongside a small bowl of maple syrup for dipping.
  • Other types of bread will work for this recipe, but Texas toast produces the best outcome.
  • For a healthier version, omit the sugar and cinnamon and place the sticks in the air fryer after dunking in egg mixture.
  • For a less crispy end result, cook on one side for 7 minutes and the other for 3 minutes.
