Looking for a super easy and perfectly crispy chicken wings recipe? Oh good! You’re in the right place! With very little effort on your end, your air fryer will produce the most perfect wings you’ll ever eat.

There are a lot of reasons I could never be a vegetarian and chicken wings are one of those delicious reasons. I could pretty much eat a perfectly cooked wing any time of the day, hungry or not. Years ago my husband and I used to try making perfect oven-baked wings and we got close!

But that was before the air fryer entered the scene. This trendy little appliance works magic on wings and I am telling you, guys.. they do not get easier, crispier or more irresistible than this. This is so much healthier than deep frying! Throw a batch together for your next gathering!

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN WINGS IN THE AIR FRYER

Pat 2 pounds of chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place in a single layer in an air fryer basket (work in batches). Cook at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.

Once chicken wings are cooked, add to a large bowl and toss the wings with sauce or seasonings of choice. Serve immediately!

    RECIPE NOTES

    • Be sure not to overcrowd your basket for the best outcome!
    • There is no need to toss the chicken in oil or evenadd seasoning before cooking. Toss them in bare naked and they’ll cook absolutely perfectly!
    • For extra crispy wings, crank the heat up to 400 degrees F and cook for 25 minutes total, flipping once or twice throughout.

    HOW TO REHEAT CHICKEN WINGS

If you have leftovers hanging around and wish to enjoy them another time, place them back in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. That’s it!

    RECOMMENDED SAUCES FOR WINGS

    • Hot sauce such as Frank’s
    • Buffalo sauce
    • Bbq sauce
    • Honey garlic (1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes)
    • Dip “bare” wings into either Ranch dressing, blue cheese or seasoned sour cream
