    Holiday Snack Mix Recipe

    This Holiday Snack Mix is the perfect, easy, festive snack to bring to a Christmas party! Packed with the perfect mix of salty and sweet ingredients.

    How’s your week? Do you have your Christmas shopping done? Has cold weather invaded your neck of the woods yet? It is finally cold here and I do not have my shopping done. Seriously, does anyone get that done this soon? If you are out there, I’d like to know who you are and then I’d like for you to be my life coach.

    We have a few parties coming up and this delicious and festive Holiday Snack Mix will be involved in one or all of them. It doesn’t get easier than this and I promise you will be loved and admired for years to come if you arrive at your next gathering with a large bowl of this Holiday Snack Mix in your hands.

    How To Make Holiday Snack Mix

    Combine the following ingredients in a large bowl:

    • Corn Chex cereal
    • Popped popcorn
    • Frosted animal cookies
    • Dry-roasted peanuts
    • Milk chocolate M&M’s (holiday colors)
    • Yogurt-covered pretzels
    • Butterscotch chips

    Carefully stir. Store covered at room temperature until ready to serve.

    RECIPE NOTES

    • Swap out any of the ingredients with other festive goodies you have on hand: caramel corn, cheese popcorn, holiday-colored candies, marshmallows, white chocolate chips or whatever else you have on hand.
    • Use any type of Chex cereal for this mix.

    HOW TO STORE HOLIDAY SNACK MIX

    Store this mixture in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks at room temperature.

    SNACK MIXES MAKES A GREAT GIFT

    This makes a great little gift! It’s a perfect gift idea for someone you’re going to spend the day with or to send a long as a little gesture that you’re thinking of them.

    Pick up a pint sized mason jar and load it up with the mixture. Place a gift tag on it and let them know you’ve been thinking of them.
