Here are a few of my favorite things about roasted broccoli: It tastes like candy (seriously). It’s probably the easiest side dish you’ll ever make. The green color means it’s packed with good stuff. My boys don’t fight me for it because of the aforementioned green color.

Recipe Ingredients
Broccoli florets – Use fresh broccoli for best results. Frozen broccoli will also work! There will be more moisture in the frozen variety, so stir a few times throughout the cooking process.
Extra virgin olive oil – Replace extra-virgin olive oil with coconut, vegetable or sesame oil for a different flavor.
Seasonings – Go as crazy as you’d like with herbs and spices. Italian seasoning, cumin, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, oregano or basil are great dried seasonings to sprinkle over the top.
If you have fresh herbs on hand, basil, chives, parsley and thyme are all delicious when paired with this green veggie.
Don’t dismiss the simplest, but perhaps most delicious combo of all – salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Made this tonight for dinner and let me just say there are no leftovers. SO DELICIOUS!!
So glad to hear it!
I'm going to make this tonight! My mouth waters looking at the pictures!!
I do this all the time, its delicious! This recipe has converted my husband into a broccoli lover, still working on the kids though! I've recently tried roasting the broccoli using just Pam spray, and its really come out just as good, and its nice to save on the oil calories… I roast at 400 and use salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder. I like when a few of the floret ends get a little charred.
Yummy! I love broccoli, too, but I've never thought to roast it! Thanks!
