    Why This Recipe Works

I’m obsessed with sauces, I admit. Experimenting with them can make any food taste better. It is such a great way to expand your flavor horizons.

This Dominos garlic parmesan sauce copycat recipe tastes so much like the real thing. Use it as a dipping sauce for breadsticks or cheesy bread, or slather it all over your next slice of pizza.

This creamy garlic sauce comes together in just a few minutes and using a few easy ingredients! Domino garlic sauce is such an easy recipe to throw together and has so much flavor.

    Recipe Ingredients

Bowls of garlic sauce ingredients lined up on a counter.

Butter – Salted or unsalted butter can be used in this recipe. The salted variety will produce a more salty end result. If you’d like, double the amount of butter used to create more of a garlic butter spread.

Minced garlic – If you really love the taste of garlic, use 3 or 4 cloves instead of the 2 fresh garlic cloves listed in the recipe card. Take the flavor to the next level by using roasted garlic!

Parmesan cheese – Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese whenever possible for best results.

Mayonnaise – Use regular or light mayo for this recipe. All or part of the mayo can be replaced with plain Greek yogurt for a slimmer recipe.

Seasonings – Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper make the perfect seasoning trio.

    Recipe Notes

    How to Use Garlic Sauce

Delicious garlic parmesan sauce is such a versatile sauce! Browse through the list of ideas below to get started!

    • Replace regular pizza sauce with white pizza sauce as a delicious twist for pizza night.
    • Toss together with hot pasta to create a creamy pasta dish.
    • Use as a spread on garlic bread.
    • It is the perfect dipping sauce for breadsticks.
    • Use as a dipping sauce for chicken fingers, chicken nuggets or fries.
    • Dip chicken wings into it.
    • Spread it over cooked meat such as grilled chicken, steak or pork chops.
    • Add it to your next baked potato.

Pro tip: When adding parmesan cream sauce to your favorite pizza, create a batch of homemade pizza dough first to enhance the flavor even further!

How To Store Homemade Garlic Sauce

Store garlic parmesan sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Can You Freeze Mayonnaise Based Sauces

Mayonnaise based sauces may be frozen, but the quality might diminish after thawing. Freezing them may cause a separation of the ingredients. The sauce will look different than it did when it went into the freezer and may have a lumpier texture, as well.

To freeze, store in airtight containers wrapped in aluminum foil or in freezer-safe bags for up to three months for best results.
